Salty Tunes 45 & 4:
A Salty Celebration

The Karlsruhe band Salty Tunes invites you to SANDKORN and celebrates twice: four years of band history and their 45th birthday!

With their unmistakable sound of classical and jazz, the quartet will delight audiences again this fall with a program full of surprises. Pianist Daniel "Salty" Salzmann's arrangements blend familiar and beloved elements of classical and pop with groove, swing, and the full spectrum of jazz. A journey into new sound worlds for classical music lovers and jazz fans alike – impressively enunciated by frontman Leon Winkler.

A special evening for bassist Paul Cervenec, who launched the project four years ago and not only forms the band's musical foundation with double and electric bass – the quartet's most experienced musician is also the birthday boy. The new driving force on drums, "Timekeeper" Tim Brucker, adds a special touch to the already distinctive Salty Tunes sound.
